Love

Two lovers lay on the axle of love
and a crow cawcawed in the moonlight:
the axle turned and the moonlight flamed
and a dead tree broke the shining air
where a black crow cawed in the moonlight.
The axle broke in the shining air,
the lovers vanished and the white tree lay
upward into the fiery moon:
and a crow cawcawed in the moonlight.
